Due to the BOM forecast of 36 degrees, all D Grade matches today are reduced to 70 overs (rule 8.9e).
Matches in higher grades may be reduced to 70 or 80 overs by agreement between the captains prior to the toss. Drinks breaks should be taken no more than 45 minutes (12 overs) apart.
Due to possible showers on Sunday morning, pitches and wicket tables must be covered by dusk on Saturday at all grounds with Sunday games. (In the City of Melbourne, this is all grounds except Cordner, Fawkner Park 1, Ransford, Ryder, Smith and Walker West.) Hessian must be used over pitches.
